It was bliss but…

After weighing the benefits and consequences of this gamble, I finally decided to open up an online store for my T-Shirt business! *claps*

What made me push through this business isn’t solely based on financial reasons. There are far better reasons why I decided to make this possible.

It’s about the passion to create something out of paints and brushes. I feel great whenever I see my works being worn or giving it to anyone who wants it. I never get to keep any painting or drawing I made because someone always asks to have it — yet it is my joy to let others have it.

I just consider taking advantage of the financial opportunities. It’s not like I’m going to give up schooling and pursue this! I do this not because I need to, but because I WANT to. But I wouldn’t mind if I would become a business tycoon in this line. Wish me luck on this one.

Oh and if you have the time, why not browse around? I only have one set of designs yet, but there are more to come so why not add me in your contacts in Multiply so you’ll be updated? Thanks!

WARNING: COVER SONG!

YAY! New Cover Song — and it’s on video! Weeee! Now Moo has something more to laugh at!

Pool Parteeh~ WOOT!

Yesterday was my close friend’s birthday and, together with my High School friends, we went swimming in a private pool near us. Wu-hoo! I couldn’t properly remember the last part since I was too drunk that my brain isn’t working well.

I couldn’t remember the details but all I remember was my X was there and we were actually talking. Usually, I wouldn’t be talking to him because I don’t want to. And I was surprised with myself that I talked to him. NO, I’m not bitter. Okay, maybe a little bit.

I lost the Gamble
August 15th, 2009, Saturday on 22:43

Love, according to Wikipedia.org, came from the latin word, Amāre meaning, to love. It is defined as any of a number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection and attachment.

Meanwhile, Aristotle said that “love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies”, while Shakespeare in his sonnets said “love is a smoke made with the fume of sighs.” 1 Corinthians 13:4 described love as patient, kind, never envies nor does it boastand not proud. A song by Incubus says love hurts.

Every single one of us has our own definition of what love is.

I have this habit of asking when I do not understand. When I was a kid, I often ask my dad why the sky is blue, what makes the solar system move, how the internet started and so much trivial things that I could ask for. Maybe there has always been this philosopher in me that tends to ask and ask and ask what science can’t reach or religion has not given a definite answer.

Now, I question love. Why does it have to be this way? How come didn’t I see it before? Why does it have to hurt so much? Why can’t I just live, learn and move on? Why? Why? Why?

Ignorant. Naive. That’s what I am.

But as my wall clock tickety-tocks over me, I just realized something. Isn’t it high time that I stop complicating the meaning of this word when the word is the meaning itself?

It is a gamble. It could give happiness or just shatter your heart. Love is love.

And I lost the gamble.

Going. Going. Gone.

I am now a student journalist.

Really, I am. I’ve been off to some events and interviews with a few famous people like Nene Tamayo and Pau Diaz, and Francis Santiago, a sports writer at Manila Bulletin.

And to think that what I’m doing right now is just for a requirement this term. We are asked by Dr. Teresita Galang-Carey; dean of our college, class adviser, and interpretative writing professor; 3 first-hand news articles, that we had a scoop on and at least 1 interview with a news writer from the prominent newspapers in the country.

Easy? NOT!

It is tiring and the toxic commuting makes me want to drop. But what keeps me going is the chills and thrills of meeting new people, listening to different angles in life and just.. LEARNING! Basically, this career really would not make your mind and heart stagnant.

I feel altruistic that I get to meet these guys at my amateur level. Besides, it trains us to face different people in different situations and how to approach them.

And later, I am off to Mendiola to cover the different groups that formed a rally. After all, it is the last State of the Nation adress (SONA) of President Arroyo. What should we expect? Lies? Exaggeration? Or the plain truth?

Let us watch to find out. Filipinos, young and old alike, please take part! Be informed. Be aware. Do not be a victim of ignorance!

PS: I’ll follow up the pictures of my crazy misadventures and interviews with people and my travels to places soon. I’m not forcing you to read the dumb*ss letter below, but if your curiosity haunts you like Moaning Myrtle, feel free.

First Week = Thesis

I know, I’m a bad blogmate. :( I haven’t been updating and blog hopping like I’m supposed to be. Sorry guys, school’s been killing me and I’m just fighting my way off to survival. Promise, I’ll make it up to you guys ASAP. :)

Dear reader, allow me to be in rant mode today and excuse my unintelligent statements. I believe it is because of the stress I am receiving for the past days and being in the “red alert mode”. Thank you for understanding.

Despite the fact that schedule’s a bum’s paradise, I consider it hell! Why? I’ll give you a few harmless reasons why:

Be Safe!

Drag Me To Hell PosterJune 6, 2009. Me and my classmates from CEU went to Trinoma to watch the movie Drag Me To Hell. I’m not an avid fan of horror, suspense or thriller movies because they freak the heck out of me. So, why did I tag along to watch?

First, my friends insisted that it’ll be fun, it’ll be awesome and after all, it’s not everyday we get to hang out freely without the pressure of school.

I’m a big chicken when it comes to this so I have to say this one is still freaking me out every time nightfall comes. If you’re looking for a thriller movie, this one’s good for you.

Videography is excellent and provides convincing and extremely shocking scenes that would make you scream your lungs out. And trust me, I did all the screaming.

Though, if we’re looking at it on literary quality, the plot is quite shallow. There is no complex storyline that makes the audience hooked on how the story would turn out. The main character only revolves around the curse put upon her, the job promotion and her excellent boyfriend. That’s it. :|

Then, after the movie, we went to meet up with Ellise, our former classmate who started working at a call center. I missed her so much!

* * *

Would you be surprised that my former boyfriend now transferred to CEU? What a shocker.

I accompanied him during his enrolment and had lunch together. No, no, no, we are NOT together again. We’re sort of like friends, but like M.U. or something. Our situation is very complicated as of the time being, that’s why I don’t want to be in a relationship with him again.

Though, I feel a little neutral about him transferring to my school, I felt a bit of happiness in me. *eww* Scratch that!

Be safe!

Centro Escolar University’s classes are now officially reset to June 15, 2009 due to the rapid spreading of the A(H1N1) Influenza.

Though this is good news for the lazy bums out there (sort of like myself), I have to go to school for a couple of times for a video shooting requested by our college.

The video must have the different department heads in CEU telling something about our college’s new dean. I hope we finish it by tomorrow since I’m too lazy to travel back and forth from home to school. -_-

However, what really concerns me is the pandemic outbreak of A(H1N1) aka Swine Influenza. I really don’t think that the Department of Health actually has is under control, as they claim.

It is the World Health Organization itself that raised the alert level to 6, which means that status is extremely bad! Seriously, I’m afraid that it would reach our household or even get in contact with a carrier.

Friends, blogmates and readers, I suggest that we avoid leaving our homes if unnecessary and going to crowded places. If unavoidable, buy a mask. By tomorrow, I guess I’ll be off to buy a mask beside our school.

Remember, this disease still does not have a cure, this is why carelessness is a luxury we could not afford at this time.

Take care, loves.
