Here’s a little something I made yesterday since there weren’t any much work for me to do in the office that afternoon. It’s really been a while since the last time I made stuff like this one. I miss doing non work-related things. I used to make Christmas cards like this one for my blog visitors and hostees every year. I think I skipped making cards last year due to my busyness. Oh well, at least I managed to make one this year the very last minute. Haha.

I hope you guys enjoy your holidays. I got to do some really last minute shopping now. Cheers everyone! Happy Christmas! :]

edit: The font I used is called Musa Ornata. It’s a lovely font and it’s free! You can download it at the link I gave.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part I)

It may have been a known fact that I’ve been waiting for this movie to come out since forever — well, okay just right after reading the last book. Weeks ago, I was spazzing because I found out that it will be released on my birthday however, there are just some things that needed utmost attention before anything else, and yes even Harry Potter couldn’t be squeezed in. Nevertheless I was able to watch it after a week.

As a Potter fan, I couldn’t help but to notice changed and missing scenes from the book to the film. Sorry I couldn’t really help it. I mean, who could help it anyway? It didn’t make me like the film any less. It grew up along with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I personally didn’t expect it to evolve like that — in a good way. Plus, I like the way they presented The Tale of the Three Brothers (since it sort of gave me the feeling as though they were story telling it towards a very young audience) though I must admit I was expecting them to present it by casting real actors.

I don’t really want to see the characters die in front of my eyes bit by bit so seeing Hedwig and Dobby die got me a bit teary-eyed. Part One’s ending is good though, bitin talaga. Haha. I can’t wait for Part Two! Accio Jully 2011!

My Amnesia Girl

Who would have thought I’d watch this or even blog about this? Hahaha! This came to me really unexpected. I’m not saying that I don’t watch local films or what but I think this is the first time I’ll blog about a local film. I do watch local films every now and then — well, whenever my mum wants to watch something. It’s not like I’m forced to watch it because my mum wants to but sometimes films like this could serve as a nice icebreaker of some sort. It’s just like one of those films…………………………… Heh.

At first, just like any other, I thought it’s just a local ripoff of 50 First Dates. I guess I was wrong. Well, I was wrong at all. The film is cute and I must admit, it’s refreshing. They have those corny pickup lines but for some reason, they’re pretty mabenta to the audience and they are pretty mabenta to me. John Lloyd and Toni didn’t fail to deliver. I love them! Hahaha!
