What the fuck is wrong?

It’s been a hell of a fucking hour already since I started surfing the net doing the usual stuff I do online however things are dramatically stagnant right now. I don’t know what’s wrong with the internet connection and with my ym. Tonight’s connection is freaking slow. Thank you, DSL, thank you. NOT!

My YM on the other hand is….. I dunno…. I really think there’s something wrong with it but I can’t figure it out whatever it is. Its been like that since.. last night I think. It doesn’t show any offline messages but the offline message box pops up whenever I log it in and it shows the same people appear online even if they are really offline! It still shows who comes online and who goes offline but but but, I dunno,I can still see some office people online even if they’re actually offline right now with the same status messages they have yesterday! I’m not sure if they’re really really online tonight but I really doubt that they really are because just before I leave the office last night, I somewhat asked one of my colleagues about the ym thingiemajigger and let her saw my list but the one who sits on my right told me she’s not online BUT SHE’S ONLINE ON MY LIST ALL DAY EVEN TODAY. My YM’s freaking me out.

Anyway, I have been away from the net for so long that I have no idea what’s happening with the world already. Work has been consuming me ever since the year started so whenever I go online to check up on my friends thru friendster, multiply, facebook, blog, etcetera, etcetera… new things and developments (about people) never fail to amuse me. Like for example, somebody hooked up with somebody and somebody broke up with somebody and somebody got bashed by somebody and the likes (Naku, chismis ito. chismis.)… I mean, whoa I’ve been missing a lot of (juicy) things (I mean gossips) because of that money-producing activity called WORK and business? LOL. That is soooo funny! It made me realized that I need to get a life. Haha.

So today, I tried something new again! HAHA! (Oh yeah, you know what… I’ve been sticking out with my new year’s resolution till now and I’m sooo happy! So far so good! It really makes a difference when you try something new everyday. Life gets less boring than the usual.ü) I went to Salon de Manila with my mum today and had my hair cut somewhat short! Shoulder length with bangs :] And I’m loving it! I’ll upload pictures later since I only upload pics in the office. After getting a change of hairstyle, we went to Greenhills and shop! I bought two dresses, a pair of shorts, and a pair of huge round earrings. I didn’t go up the cellphone stores in Theatre Mall just to see my crush — it was kind of sad on my part though. haha. So anyway, come Monday and the office will see me in (somewhat) short hair and dress. FYI: I haven’t cut my hair this short for ages! Scary! And! And I have stopped wearing dresses when I was in grade six because of an accident that resulted a scar on my legs! So really really scary! Hahaha! But anyway, at least I am getting my life back. :]

Haha, now I wonder when the effin’ hell would I get my layout block out of my system? I need to get a layout soon because every time I see my domain I get sad because I see wordpress’ default theme until now. Gawd. I do hope I’d get a decent layout up soon.ü Cheerios~!

And so my week finally ended last night.

My week can be compared to as a student’s final exam week or something like trying to beat a deadline of a major project or pitch or bid or something. It was tiring, stressful, sleepless, and I feel so harassed after skipping from one project to another. I hated hell week before when I was still in college and for the first time, I feel fulfilled after all that five sleepless and stressful days for beating my deadlines.

So, what kept me busy?

Besides from my job, I’ve finished several toffeenut beaded stuff orders including a silver bracelet made of dog charms, a pair of earrings with dog charms, a necklace and fifty bag charms for souvenirs. It was like working in the office for more than 8 hours and working AGAIN until 3am for my orders at home. It was hell of tiring thing to do because the only rest I get was when I eat and when I finally decided to get little sleep however for me it was pretty fulfilling since not only squeezing so many projects in a short span of time I also get paid for everything (unlike before wherein I only get grades. LOL).♥

Anyway I’m sooo happy that everything went well and everything was finished and delivered on time. And as of today, I’m enjoying my weekend because I’d be working again when Monday strikes. Good thing is, it’ll be a payday Tuesday! Yay! LOL.

Good-bye Tektite

Our agency will move out of the Philippine Stock Exchange Center building and that’s all we know… really… we heard that we’ll move out around the 12th or the 14th of April but then again, we’re all just hearings rumors and stuff so the moving out of Tektite thing isn’t really clear to us until yesterday when our boss told us that we are moving out that night. It gave me a shock… actually, the whole creative department got shocked by it. Imagine moving the whole office to another building in a night… it was like… whoa.

So we really did moved out last night. Well, the ones who remained in the office after work actually moved out, including me. It was so surprising the we are not emotionally prepared leaving Tektite yet, like what I’ve said, it gave us a shock and some people wasn’t even aware of it! We started packing our things out around five o’clock in the afternoon. I packed my things while working on my Back to school Powerlane modules. The packing forced me to discontinue my work since I have to dismantle my computer unit when it was already around seven or eight in the evening. We were supposed to go home around nine when out boss came in and told us that we will move out, literally. So yep, we were the ones who carried office boxes, LCDs, CPUs, UPS, office chairs, etcetera etcetera down to the vehicles that will transfer those things to our new building, Antel Global. We were the ones who moved them up the new office as well. And, guess what, most of us are GIRLS. One of the most unforgettable thing I’ve carried last night was our Department head’s G4!! IT WAS SO DAMN HEAVY. SWEAR. Hahaha! We were able to settle things down around twelve midnight already. Of course our boss fed us with…. JOLLIBEE MEALS and we were able to finally go home around one in the morning.

This morning when I got there, everything was almost settled already, almost ready to work but of course everyone polished the new seating arrangements, putting things in their places, and cleaning up. We were able to return working on our projects after lunch. The first day wasn’t as smooth as other regular working day since our phone lines and DSL connection resumed around five in the afternoon already. Can you imagine working without internet? It IS hard. I was able to finish my Back to School Powerlane anyway and was able to finish constructing my structure for my Waltermart NE Mead Johnson Post dress up earlier tonight. Too bad, I wasn’t able to finish it and turned down and overtime from our head. I honestly felt bad about it but I only told him the truth… that I can’t work tomorrow not because of our Puerto Galera outing but because I have to look over my grandmother tomorrow.

Anyhow, our new office is twice as big as our Tektite unit. Really. However, I don’t know… I’m not yet that comfortable with it… Maybe because of the new seating arrangements and the new room atmosphere (since we are now sharing room with the IT department and they like the room the be so brightly lighted and we don’t — we don’t even open our lights not unless we really have to!) So my eyes really have to adjust with the new set up, which might eventually lead me to bring and use my glasses while working. Oh, we have pics! I’ll upload it maybe next week? Hehe.ü
