Typographed

If you have been or stumbled on my previous journals/blogs before and see this template you’d know how much I like these kind of layouts. LOL. Anyway, my previous ‘Art of Conversation‘ theme lasted for like.. months with two versions, I wonder how long will ‘Concepts‘ last? My previous typographic design was inspired of JWT but this time, I dunno. I just….. played with photoshop one afternoon because they ran out of JO to give.

I always wanted to have a wooden layout… I got really really frustrated when all the wood I tried earliear failed to satisfy me for the background. At first I wanted it to be in a lighted shade of wood but then, I can’t find a wood texture that fits and can be patternized seamlessly. I end up with this wood pattern I used for the friendster profile before from a random Japanese link I clicked at ATP. *sigh*

This isn’t really done yet… I want to make my sidebars’ corners rounded and I haven’t really fixed my footer image yet. The headers for each posts and the date, categories, and comments placements are not final yet. So yeah…. still a lot of stuff to tweak? HAHAHA! And I’m too lazy to work on it…. Well, I have work… (I just finished my projects for today a bit earlier that I’m slowly working on my project for tomorrow!). Yes I know I’m slacking off but what the heck.

If I could describe how my week went it would have to be the title I wrote for this entry. It was clouded but it remained to be pretty…. pretty acceptable for a week. Haha!

It was clouded with workload (as usual) and I wouldn’t have survived it without my new most visited site, Plurk; Imeeeeem; (and yes, I’m slowly becoming more active in) DeviantART, and Flickr. Since I can’t open/surf multiply, facebook, friendster, and YM at the office, I have found some alternative sites wherein I can pour my work-related stress into. Why can’t office people understand that sometimes we use those kind of sites to be able to think and work properly? Hahaha! Workload this week didn’t change a bit and like any other Friday I experienced headache from morning to this very minute I am typing this thing. I have taken medication but I guess a pill isn’t enough to take it away.

Things have been pretty stable lately, not that everyday is just another same day as yesterday kind of thing but not as much eventful as my previous weeks… say my week has minor events daily? LOL. I mean, not as bashful as super huge ass celebration and whatnot. heehee~ Get what I mean?

This week’s highlight would definitely my suspended suspension from work. Last week, I told that I’d be suspended this week because I was caught using YM and surfing facebook and multiply and whatever site it was that was forbidden to surf which I haven’t really done for a month already but since I wanted to take a break, I just admitted doing what was accused of me. However, due to some unexpected things, my suspension didn’t push through which was quite sad on my part. I was advised that I’ll be suspended next week. Haha! Hooray?

I have discovered a few things this week too! Some are things about some people I know, some are new stuff/tutorials/tips and tricks I found on the net, and some are just self realizations. Also, I was able to catch my longest living online friend online some time this week. It was good! He looks and sounded like pretty much the same as before and yes, I missed him! It was fun to catch up with each other’s lives after ages of not talking with each other. I’ve realized how much I miss the good ol days…. good ol high school days. :]

I love the new facebook look. I’ve said it before (on plurk) and I’ll say it again, it looks neat. I like it. I have created a new flickr account too…. hopefully, I might turn it into pro account someday. Haha! I’ve been canvasing for a Vivitar UW&S cam lately and I accidentally found the Lomo Fun Cam which I find really interesting (and amazingly cute too) and now, I’m all mixed up. I dunno what to buy anymore. What do you guys think? Here are their sample pics: vivi uw&s and fun cam. Well? Which one? I want them both but, I’ll buy them one at a time I guess? Films are expensive and having them developed is another thing… so yeah, they are expensive and I have a pretty expensive hobby.

The Alternatives

Ever since they gave us a warning about using YM here in the office I diverted myself to something else such as blogging, emailing, and customizing sites. Yes, I know I don’t blog here every single day but I have recently revived my LJ account (I don’t blog there every single day too but at least it’s being updated regularly) xDxD;;

I chat via email, and I spend my time bloghopping and customizing random account I have. I have customized my imeem, friendster, and multiply so far. I’m slowly working on my LJ layout next. Hahaha. I’m not good when it comes to customizing LJ layouts so I might need some help here. LOL. I’ve been searching and reading LJ layout tutotirals since this morning and I haven’t succeeded into coming up with a good decent layout yet. I know I’m slow with this LJ stuff but what the heck. *w*

I recently wanting to change my multiply ID for I don’t know why because I’m tired of the name but… I don’t know… maybe it isn’t a good idea afterall since my my multiply contains a fair amount of stuff in it and I’m too lazy to transfer all of them. So.. I’m not really sure what to do with that. LOL xD;

Domain-wise, things are pretty okay…. I have three new hostees! Tinze, Mabel, and Mika. ♥. I believe that they’re not yet done with their sites… Visit them nonetheless!ü Oh yes, DA! DA! DA! Please message meeee! I swear I notified you that I’m changing domain!!! ;_; I’m sorry na oooo…

Today is friday the 13th. Unlucky? I don’t think so! So far so good! Let me put it this way, the CATS ARE AWAY (ALMOST ALL DAY!) so WE get to enjoy the whole freaking office STRESS-FREE! (And almost workless since there are no JOs left to work on!!!).

I know I wasn’t able to tell everyone how bitchy my week was last week but yeah, last week was one hell of bitchy week for me. The OT I did last monday was a very bad omen of the series of unfortunte events that happened last week including several death stories and personal problems — not to mention work problems. Anyway, this week is way different from last week.

Like what I’ve mentioned earlier, this week is stress-free and the workload is lighter. :] Hooray!♥ Thus, the lighter workload resulted to this new layout (after being hiatus for ages!) and a tweaked my multiply layout too. ^^.

Oh and I was able to upload every single photo I have on my phone memory! Here are some of them:

Oh yeah, just in case you are all wondering what the heck are those…. obviiously, the first one features red and green m&m’s, second, third, and fourth photos are pictures of my fabricated designs and the last photo is a photo of another sunset with our blinds on. And I have a new hostee! Her name is Mabel :] I’m not sure whether she’s done or not. :] Anyway, visit her if you have the time!

Revived

Whew. I finally got this thing up and running. Thank you Wordpress 2.5 and now, I feel revived.

By the way, this domain used to be panalangin.net but due to some problems (aka work) I wasn’t able to renew it on time so it went down for months and when I finally tried renewing it my host told me that they can renew it only if I’ll pay them an additional fee of 5,000Php or just register a new name. I was like, WTF that much?! Hahaha, so it led me to the just register a new name option and toffeenut.org was born.

As far as I can remember, I mentioned this domain name before but I wasn’t really sure if I’ll get it or not since I still had p.net back then so when my host told me about my options, I ask them to register this name right away. Lucky for me it wasn’t taken yet. heehee.

As for my lovely hostees, well… I can’t contact some of them, some of them are on MIA or something and one of them got herself a new host, and two of them remained. So in other words, I am open for hosting around 2-3 sites preferably blogs or photoblogs.
