Happy Nineteenth!

First of all, I’m sorry for partially neglecting to write anything for the past few weeks! I know I’ve been neglecting to write here as well as on my tumblr. I’ve been so busy lately, first was spending my last week of vacation as a freelancer and bumming around our house and second is that, I started working again — which I’ll post on a separate entry after this one. My pending posts are filing up already. I have like 3 pending posts as of now, 1 personal and 2 food/milktea posts. But for now, here’s our nineteenth month entry! :]
Our nineteenth month was as simple as we woke up, ate lunch, stayed home all day watching tv together and the likes…. We planned to eat dinner somewhere but since my mum decided to cook something for dinner that day, we decided not to eat out anymore.
I remember that we had an argument that night, I just forgot what it was all about. We’ve talked about it after dinner. We had like from 7pm until 10pm to settle it down because we also planned to watch a movie that night. So as soon as we settled our issues, we went to Promenade, Greenhills to watch the movie we planned to watch days ago.
We reached Promenade a bit earlier for us to go inside the cinema so after buying our tickets, we walked towards Happy Lemon to buy our favourite Happy Lemon drink, Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese! After buying, while bb was smoking I took some snapshots of our drinks using his Blackberry phone for our monthly 8 photo of things we shared together during that day because I don’t have any camera with me that night. So after taking photos of our drinks, we walked back to Theater Mall for our movie. :]
We watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo! I experienced my first time to watch a book adapted movie that I haven’t read yet! I don’t know, I like watching book adapted movies only after I read the book first so when we decided to watch The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, I sort of wanted to buy the book first and finish it in 2 days or something but I know that I couldn’t do that because I don’t read that fast.
As a movie, I find it nice. It made me want to read the book more. I love detective, crime, thriller, mystery genres so watching it as a movie intrigued me to read the book if ever I get the chance to see it in a bookstore and get enough time to read it some time. I think things are more detailed in books that’s why I want to read it.
Generally, our nineteenth month was good despite the argument we had that day because at the end of the day, we had our favourite Happy Lemon drink and a very nice movie.

Congratulations Pam! More power to you and your boyfriend. Hihi. Thanks for the comment on the film. I think I’ll just download it later… I’ve no one to watch films with anymore. :’(

Congrats on number 19.
I’ve also been busy with school work that my blogging activity has also suffered. But I do like being busy.
I usually watch the movie before reading the book. But since reading a Jane Austen book before seeing the movie adaption I have come to enjoy doing it the other way around instead.
I agree, books are more detailed. And I also think, book characters can do things that really wouldn’t display well on the screen.

Happy 19th monthsary! No problem with neglecting your blog. We all go through that phase
I hope everything is going well with your new job. Can’t wait to hear about it.
The Millennium trilogy has been on my to-read list for what seems like forever. I never started them. My dad really liked the original Millennium movies with Noomi Rapace as Lisbeth Salander. It makes me wonder why they had to make an American version if the original was already really good. Hollywood’s severely lacking in originality these days, it seems.
