A box of happines, brownies! Baked by Azeined :]

I didn’t expect October to be that fast! It’s November already and there have been a lot of happenings in my life lately! It’s like WOW! I couldn’t believe it myself. Hahaha!

More photos below :]

I’ve got a lot of work lately alright but even though things at work are a little bit hellish and loaded for me, I actually feel good about it because for once… after ages (literally!) I’ve finally felt the happiness I’ve been longing for the past few years.

Axn-asia green forum (green = animation forum) screencap; it has 328 comments right now. LOL.

Just for a little background, I used to be a member of a forum back when I was in still high school and met a lot of cool and crazy friends. I actually treat them as good as my real life friends (or maybe even closer). We eventually became really busy and lost contact of each other. Until recently, my oldest online friend (Oldest by means of years we know each other) told me he’ll visit in Manila. I got so excited and hyped that I started contacting old forumers I know. However, he came in a very bad time (Oct. 30 – Nov. 2) and Manila was so dead. XD; He was stuck with me for 2 days and he was all by himself on Nov. 1 but our other forum friends visited him just before he flew to Cebu to meet another forumer. I discovered a screencap of the forum we used to hang out and posted it on facebook, everyone missed everyone and got all so excited which resulted into having a reunion over at mIRC. And now, we’re all active again! Talk about old time friends and ancient chat. LOL. It was really fun! I’ve never felt this in years and I didn’t know that Axn-ers have this effect on me. :]

That’s my friend Jerry aka Kenjo hugging Jolibee.

It was the first time I met my friend btw. He’s an Indonesian living in Singapore and it was his first time here in Manila. At first I didn’t know what to do and stuff but our meeting was quite…. funny. We met as if we have met each other on a regular basis wherein in fact, that was our first meeting. It was weird because I’m not that comfortable with other people I’ve met for the first time. Maybe because we’ve known each other since we were so young? Well, anyway… I wasn’t able to give him a decent tour around and I feel bad about it. :|

Don’t you just love to be reunited with your lost friends? It’s fun! After Jerry/Kenjo’s visit here in Manila, we decided to see each other the following week (Nov. 7!)  It was Ate Melissa  aka Kazumi’s birthday. :D

Me with the yummiest brownies ever! Thanks to Den =D

Ate Kazumi =D

Eiya who just bought her Big Bang CD the night before.

Den =D. You guys should try her brownies! It’s really yummy!

The others weren’t able to come because of work. =( Hopefully, someday we’ll have a grand get-together! Another funny thing is, we’re chatting as if the good old days we had before just happened yesterday! It feels like we didn’t get old or anything. It’s really fun!!!

(500) Days of Summer advance screening ticket cover

Aside from the irc reunion, I’ve had a number other good stuff too like being able to watch (500) Days of Summer a week earlier for free because our AE gave me an advanced screening ticket a week before it opened on theaters. It’s one of those movies that you won’t get tired of even if you’d watched it over and over again. :] I love it.

Also, isn’t it good to see your work’s finished product? I got to see mine printed and fabricated! I was sooo amazed that I’ve felt all of my hardwork somewhat paid of. I was paid overtime fee but the money didn’t really appeal to me. It was like the usual stuff…. but seeing the actual printed materials made all the tired, stressful, and sleepless nights I wasted all worth it. :]

Lime Powder Benefits Guide brochure cover. :]

Lime Benefits Guide brochure inside page sample.

Sales Con booth for UFS, I didn’t design this btw. :]

Gourmet Station; Initial design by me.

Actually there are more but I wasn’t able to see them personally like for example, if you had seen the Philippine Fashion Week at SM Mall of Asia, there’s this side event sponsored by Pond’s and Creamsilk called Glamwalk. I wasn’t able to see it live or experienced it myself but it was designed by me. :] I’ll ask for photos so I can post it someday :]
