Goals for September

003

I was swamped with work during the 3rd and 4th weeks of August that I’m in ~*sort of*~ in a state of panic right now that it’s September already. September means I only have 2 months to go before Skye’s first birthday and 1 month to go before our company department’s trip to Hong Kong and only a couple of weeks to work on & finish a new internal project and to process Skye’s travel documents etc…

I’ll write down my goals for this month because I bet this will be a super busy month for me.

WORK — Work-wise I’m pretty productive throughout August especially during the last 2 weeks of it and I’m aiming to keep it that way. I like being busy but not too busy to forget my life and for the last 2 weeks I was able to have the right work-life balance I wanted so I want to keep it like that for good (hopefully!).

For this month, I have several internal projects and a couple of progressing / revising projects and an outgoing project / event. I hope I’d successfully finish everything before our HK trip!

CREATE HONG KONG TRIP — Our department’s trip or annual field trip / outing this year will be in Hong Kong early next month. Unlike our Singapore trip last year, I’m just tasked to create an itinerary (that we’ll ignore again most probably). I haven’t started it yet but hopefully, I’d come up with a nice 4-day itinerary for our group before our next meeting.

Do you guys have any suggestions where to go and eat in Hong Kong aside from visiting Disneyland and Ocean Park and HK shopping districts? Suggestions are highly appreciated! 🙂

SKYE’S PASSPORT — I just got her NSO birth certificate yesterday and just trying to set an appointment for her — I know it’s kinda LATE for an October trip but I’m still hopeful to successfully get her passport so we can actually go to Hong Kong next month. I can’t go without her since I’m breastfeeding her and that I don’t actually have a stash that can feed her for 4 – 5 days.

SKYE’S FIRST BIRTHDAY — She’ll celebrate her 1st birthday on 1st November and we decided to have her party on the 7th. As of now, the only sure thing I’ve crossed out of my list is the food / caterer.

I plan to cross everything out this month before we leave for Hong Kong. I think once we’ve booked the venue everything else will follow.

SAVE MONEY — Saving money is my constant monthly goal aside from paying my bills and budgeting for our household expenses but I need to save more this month.

Well, I guess that’s all. It’s quite a lot for a month actually. I hope I can finish everything!

How about you guys? What are your goals for September? Also, do you have any place to visit and things to do or food to eat in Hong Kong suggestion for me that I should include in our itinerary?

Ahhh Hong Kong trip! I’ve been dreaming of that since forever pero hindi pa talaga kaya sa budget! Haha.

So if nakasama kami, baka nagkasakit pa si Skye. Tama, mas ok na mas malaki na sila kasi baka di nila maappreciate yun trip and mapagod and magtantrums lang sila all the time.
